The annual working bee and long drop callenge is coming up on the 28th of January. There will be a list of  jobs posted in the clubrooms from the 3rd of January.

On February the 4th & 5th is the Christchurch Casino Summertime Classic. Anyone wishing to play in this event please call or email Tai Tapu golf club for details and entry forms.

The course will be open seven days a week from now through to late January. Green fee players have equal rights with members on the course. 22nd and 23rd of December are quite busy, but there are still spots available. Please ring to check tee off times (3296 710). REMINDER

Sunday 11th Closing Day and Prizegiving

11am Start

American Foursome: Both players tee shot, exchange ball and play next stroke. Then select one ball and play alternate strokes until ball holed. 50% combined handicap.

Please bring a plate for a shared afternoon tea.

Discussion on format for next year will be held.

Members have been sent copies of the Annual Report for the 2011 Season and Financial Statements for the year ending 30 September 2011.

The 79th Annual General Meeting will be held in the clubhouse on Thursday  8 December 2010 at 7:30 pm.

Come along and hear what has been happening at the Club—bouquets welcome and brickbats not so welcome, but both will be fielded!

HAMPER DAY
Hamper Day will be observed as usual this year on Saturday 3 December and we have heard that our Steve has had a bright idea about how the hampers will be assembled. All Full Men and Women members of the Club are eligible to turn-up and play on Hamper Day.

MIXED CLOSING DAY
But this year Mixed Closing Day will be held separately. It will be on Sunday 11th December and the match and afterwards will be only for regular Sunday Mixed players. (Please bring a plate).
We hope the weather turns out to be fine and sunny on December 11^th.
